Download video from youtube

Click on the new button in the application interface, a dialog box will open, copy the video url from youtube and paste it in the url textbox. Click OK button and your are downloading.

Download and get the video in desired format

Click on the new button in the application interface, a dialog box will open, copy the video url from youtube and paste it in the url textbox. Select the target video format you want in the target format dropdown list. Click OK button and your are downloading. After the download finish, the downloaded video file will converted to the target format you requested. And the downloaded file will be deleted after completion. This will leave you only the target format video file you wanted.

Get the desired video format also keep the original format downloaded from youtube

Click on the new button in the application interface, a dialog box will open, copy the video url from youtube and paste it in the url textbox. Select the target video format you want in the target format dropdown list. Also check the "Keep downloaded flv/mp4" checkbox to the right. Click OK button and your are downloading. After the download finish, the downloaded video file will converted to the target format you requested. After completion, you will get both the target format video you wanted and the original format video downloaded.

Convert an already downloaded file on your disk

Click convert button on tool bar, convert dialog box will open. Click "..." button to the right of "File to convert" textbox, locate the flv or mp4 file you want to convert. Choose the target format in the "Target Format" dropdown list. Click OK and it will start to convert.

Start a stopped task

Click a stopped task in the work list. If you want to start multiple tasks, please hold down the "Ctrl" key and click the tasks in the download list. After selection, click "Start" button in the toolbar, or click "Start" menu item in the right click menu.

Stop a running task

Click a running task in the work list. If you want to stop multiple tasks, please hold down the "Ctrl" key and click the tasks in the download list. After selection, click "Stop" button in the toolbar, or click "Stop" menu item in the right click menu.

Remove a task from list

Click a task in the work list. If you want to remove multiple tasks, please hold down the "Ctrl" key and click the tasks in the download list. After selection, click "Remove" button in the toolbar, or click "Remove" menu item in the right click menu. It will only remove the task in the work list, no file will be deleted.

Remove a task from list also the video files it downloaded or converted

Click a task in the work list. If you want to remove multiple tasks, please hold down the "Ctrl" key and click the tasks in the download list. After selection, click "Remove And Delete Files" menu item in the right click menu. This will delete downloaded or converted file to the recycle bin. If this task was created to convert an exist file on your disk, that original file won't be deleted.

Specify default folder to save the videos

Click options button on the toolbar, options dialog box will open. Click "..." button to the right of "Video Save In" textbox. Locate to the folder where you want to save all the videos (for both downloaded and converted videos). Click OK button to save your changes.

Specify http proxy

Click options button on the toolbar, options dialog box will open. Click "Use Proxy" checkbox. Fill in the "Http Proxy" and "Port" textbox. After finished, click "Test" button to check to see if the proxy is working. Click OK button to save your changes.

Play video from task list

Click a finish task from task list, and click "Play" button in the toolbar or "Play Video" menu item in the right click menu. This will launch the player associated with the vidoe format to play the file. If no player is associated with the selected video, an error dialog box will shown.

Minimize to system tray

Click "Minimize" button in the toolbar or on the top right corner of the window. The appliction will minimize to the system tray. To restore application window, double click the application icon in the system tray.
